etrailer Cargo Area Protector Review - 2017 Honda CR-V- Video

Rob: Hey everybody, it's Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer cargo area protector on our 2017 Honda CRV. Most of us do have floor mats so we can protect the floor in our CRV and some of us do have cargo area protectors, but what really makes this one stand out is that it's a three piece design, so not only is it going to keep the floor protected, but it's also going to protect the back of our seats, because let's face it, behind there is just more carpet.So if we have a lot of gear back here, maybe it's messy, or maybe we even have pets back here, if the back seat isn't protected we're going to have to spend a whole lot of time cleaning that carpet and probably not have to worry about the floor.But the other thing that I really like about the etrailer cargo protector, again is it's a three piece design, so one piece will be on the back of the rear seat, the second piece is going to be on the floor, and then the third piece, you can actually drop out the back of our hatch and it'll keep the bumper area protected.A lot of times we have heavier gear, or maybe we went to the hardware store and we have a bag of mulch, rock or something like that, and when we go to take it out we don't want to scratch the bumper, so this is definitely going to help protect it, make sure we don't have any rub marks, or if something happens to fall out of the bag it's not going to fall directly on our vehicle.The cover is made out of a polyester material so it is going to do a really good job of repelling water, so you shouldn't have to worry too much about water seeping through and getting the carpet wet underneath. Now obviously if you've got a lot of dirty gear back here the protector itself is going to get dirty, not so much the carpet underneath or anything like that, so if you have a small mess you usually just get a wet rag, wipe it up. If you have a bigger mess you are probably going to want to remove it so you can clean all that stuff off.That's another big benefit of having a design like this. What I like to do, especially if you have a big mess right in the middle of the floor, I would suggest where you can kind of fold your cover over the mess, we can pull the straps off the headrest, cover it up. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2017 Honda CR-V, we're going to be test fitting the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats black in color, part number WT4411101. These also come in gray as part number WT4611101, and finally tan as part number WT4511101.Starting on the passenger side, you can see how much dirt and grime can build up on your carpet over time. Now, with the CR-V's factory mats, those can have limited coverage around the areas where you need them to be, and it can still get underneath, and get trapped in there like you see it here. Now, once we have the WeatherTech's installed though, you can see how that's going to change as well because the coverage goes up so much higher around the borders here to protect the carpet itself, and also to absorb all that damage from the water, the rain, or the inclement weather that you bring in with you.It also has these ridges here that is going to help collect everything and keep it in this area. So, all you have to do to get it out of the vehicle, simply lift the mat out, shake it out, and put it back into place. Once you are ready to clean these, it's very easy as well. more

Aries StyleGuard 2nd Row Floor Liner Review - 2015 Honda CR-V- Video

Today on our 2015 Honda CRV we'll be having a look at and installing the Aries StyleGuard Custom Auto Floor Liner for the second row in black, part number AAHD043215B. What I really like about this mat compared to others on the market is it offers an exceptional fit that follows all the nooks and crannies of our vehicle nicely at a very economical price point. As you can see here the floor mat that was in place before didn't do a very good job at covering our carpet. You can actually see where some dirt and debris has made its way down embedded inside of our carpet, even after vacuuming it won't come out. So now we'll get better protection on our carpet by installing our Aries mat. Slide it in position underneath the front seats, and we'll push it down into place. more

Today on our 2016 Honda CRV, we'll be taking a look at the Aries StyleGuard custom second row floor liner in black, number AAHD043215B. The bottom is going to be completely textured, which will help prevent our feet from slipping if they're wet from snow or water. We also have this raised, contoured edge that's going to help prevent any of that liquid that might have spilled or even on your feet from getting off of our liner and on to our carpet. It's going to be perfectly contoured to our vehicle, and it's going to fit around those front, first row tracks as well. As we lift up the corner of our floor mat, you'll see our omni-grip section on the bottom. This is going to help prevent our floor mat from slipping along the carpet. more

Today on our 2009 Honda CRV we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Weather Tech custom front floor mats, part number WT460981 also available in black, part number WT440981. First thing we'll need to do before we install our new Weather Tech floor mats is go ahead and remove the factory floor mats. You'll see that they have the snaps here. Go ahead and undo those and unbuckle them and pull them out from underneath the back side. You'll see that they had those 2 snaps that connect here and you'll be able to lift it straight out. Here on the driver side we'll go ahead and remove the factory floor mat from the fixed hooks on the back side. The Easiest way to do it is slide it back and up. more

Once you have it up into place, start working it down. Then, on the driver's side here, we'll need to connect the hooks that are underneath from the factory floor mats. Go ahead and peel that back so you can see those. We'll connect these two points to the holes here in the WeatherTech floor mat. more

Today on our 2009 Honda CRV, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the WeatherTech custom fit cargo liner, part #WT41318, also available in gray, part #WT42318, and black part #WT40318. Once you have the hatch in the back open and all of your items cleared out of the back so it's a nice and clean surface, you're ready to install your floor mat. Go ahead and slide in the cargo liner and press it down around the edges, form-fitting to the vehicle's features. You're going to see that the WeatherTech custom fit cargo liner is going to have that nice raised edge and act like a pan. It'll keep all that water, debris and any kind of liquids down on the inside of your floor mat. It's also going to have these channels to divert any of the water from one side to the other. On the back side here, you're going to see the tie-down cutouts where it's custom fit to go around your tie-downs that are in your cargo area. more

Presenter: Today on our 2009 Honda CRV, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the WeatherTech custom fit second row floor mats, part number WT460982; also available in tan, part number WT450982; and also available in black, part number WT440982. All right. With us in the back seat of our Honda CRV, let's go ahead and remove the factory second row floor mat. Once you have it removed, go ahead and pull it out of the vehicle. When sliding our floor mat in, you're going to want to place in the front first bringing it around the console since it contours to all the shapes in the vehicle, and press it down around the edges. It extends from the passenger side all the way over to the driver's side seamlessly. You can see that it's going to have that nice raised edge, so it's going to be able to keep out all of the dirt and debris and keep it all on the inside, especially when you have snow, mud, or water. There are channels to divert all of the water away from your shoes. more

As we can see the vehicle currently does not have a cargo liner in it, and we've got quite the buildup of dust, dirt and debris that happens, over time. Now let's go ahead and install the cargo liner. Our WeatherTech cargo liner is custom molded to precisely fit the vehicles interior trim panels. As we can see here, it fits nicely with the contours of the interior trim; additionally, it has that raised outer edge that will help contain that dirt, dust, and debris that will end up on the liner and keep it off the carpeting. Here in the main body of the cargo liner we've got a nice decorative pattern, and a no-slip surface to help keep our cargo from shifting and moving around. more

Husky Liners WeatherBeater Cargo Liner Review - 2012 Honda CR-V- Video

Today on our 2012 Honda CRV we will be testing the Husky Liners weather beater custom cargo liner, part number Hl24642. With the interior cleaned out, we're ready to go ahead and install the Husky floor liner. The Husky Liner is a one piece liner that extends all the way from the 2nd row seating to the rear threshold along with a raised outer edge that really helps the dirt, dust, and debris in the liner and off the carpeting. Note it also has a special cutout for the forward cargo tie downs. U-Ace 3D Kagu 2nd Row Floor Liners Review - 2013 Honda CR-V- Video

Today on this 2013 Honda CR-V, we're going to do a test fit of the U-Ace Floor Liners, part number L1HD04321509. To start off our test fit, we'll go ahead and have any original floor liners removed from the vehicle. Then we just go ahead and lay it into place. Now you see that, first off, this a one-piece unit, has an edge that goes all the way around. It also matches the contour of the console between the front seats and also reaches in between the rails of the front seats as well. One additional note, it actually matches the interior color of this vehicle very nicely. A few things to know about this liner, it is constructed from three different layers, has a textured thermoplastic rubber top layer that will hold its shape and will not deform over time. This also protects your carpet from any spills like mud or snow, and a no-slip MAXpider bottom layer. more

Today on our 2013 Honda CRV, we'll be doing a test fit of the U-Ace 3D Kagu Custom Cargo Area Floor Liner with Maxpider Grips in the black color, part number M1HD0431309. This floor liner is also available in gray, part number M1HD0431301, as well as in the beige color, part number M1HD0431302. To begin with, we'll need to raise the rear hatch of the vehicle. This vehicle does not already have any sort of existing cargo liner or anything like that that would need to be removed first. Just go ahead and slide the U-Ace floor liner into place. As you will notice, there are Maxpider grips on the complete bottom of this floor liner helping to hold it in place on the carpet of the vehicle. It is also made of three layers. Husky Liners WeatherBeater Cargo Liner Review - 2013 Honda CR-V- Video

Today on our 2013 Honda CR-V we'll be doing a test fit of the Husky Liners WeatherBeater Custom Cargo Liner in black part number HL24641. This liner is also available in tan part number HL24643 as well as in the gray color part number HL24642. To begin with, we'll need to raise our rear hatch of the vehicle. Since this vehicle does not already have a rear cargo liner or any other mat back there, we will not need to remove anything. Now, to install our new liner we'll go ahead and slide it into place and you will see here how it contours around the rear of the vehicle in the whole cargo area, giving it complete coverage. You can also see up on the front or towards where the rear seats are, there are two areas that go over two tied down points. These two points could be cut out of the mat using a razor knife allowing you access to them if you choose. You will also notice that there are ribs in the Husky Liner helping keep cargo in place as well as channeling any dirt and debris away from your cargo. more

Today, on our 2014 Honda CRV well be test fitting the U-ACE 3D KU custom model floor liners, with max spider grip, tri-layer for the front and rear, in black, part number L1HD04301509. We will start off by removing the previous mat. Well take our new U-Ace floor liner and fit it into position. Well then lay-in our custom molded Husky liner. The liner has these channels that helps keep our carpet clean. On the other side, the liners have these stay put nibs which help our liners stay in place.Youll also notice that theres a custom mold gear to fit over our factory anchor points. Today on our 2008 Honda CRV, well be test fitting the Weather Tech front auto floor mats in gray, part number wt463161. Now before we begin our test fit, well first need to remove the factory or previously installed floor mats. Now to install our new Weather Tech front auto floor mats, well simply place the mat to where the existing mat was. Here on the driver side you can see that the two anchor points where the manufactures mat was there are cutouts for the new Weather Tech mats that will help keep the mat in place. The mat extends up to the foot rest, as well as behind the pedals for maximum coverage. Today on our 2008 Honda CRV, well be test fitting the Weather Tech second row rear auto floor mat in tan, part number wt450982. Now to begin our test fit, well first need to remove the factory or previously installed floor mat, to do this well simply pull it out. Were now to place in our new Weather Tech second row floor mat and fit it to the vehicle. As you can see here after fitting it in place where the existing mat used to be, you can see the extended coverage and that the mat is molded to fit correctly into the vehicle space. You can see that it covers up the rear part of the seat channel as well as the seat channel on the other side of the mat. The mat has raised edges and channels to prevent the liquids or spills from forming over and damaging your carpet. more
